morales Montreal show and after-party

The photos we have from the show are not the best---but it was pretty good

People loved Chewbacca and the deflated pear...Doctor's bed paper chair-wraps were appreciated and screams were heard quite constantly during the performance.

Montreal rocks.

Thank you Montage for your beautiful models---to Laika for the amazing after-party and to everybody who made it down for work or play.

Thanks to our beloved Zoi agency team...Without you nothing happens.

We will be taking care of delayed posts this week.

Testing gravity to the maximum...

was our theme during this season's Toronto fashion week.

We fell in the train there, on the street,
hailing cabs, in a ditch, out of the train back etc.

Lovely friendly floors in TO

By the way , last night , our Montreal show took place at porn-cinema institution "Cinema L'amour" to a 450 people outcome...We will be posting more details about this event soon.

A mammoth thank you to the Giorgio Armani beaute team , to the amazing Stephane W team , Rad Hourani , Hubert Marsolais , Marie Eve Nadeau , Olivier Gravel and everybody in the technical team.

To those who were kind enough to assist regardless of the late hours : we love you.

Article on Maisonneuve magazine

Ceridwyn Au wrote an article called "The McFashion Era" on this month's internet issue of Maisonneuve.

It consists mostly of an interview with our AD , Renata, about the difficulties of being an independent label in the sea of multinational mass-producing sartorial behemoths.

We are huge fans of this beautiful publication and its enthusiastic coverage, we would like to make the following clarifications;
*We do not have a Flagship store in Ottawa ( a store once existed but has been closed since 2000 ).
*The success of the morales label is a result of a joint effort;

+Ana Luisa Rodriguez is production coordinator.

+Chantal Fortier takes care of customer relations.

+And Renata Morales is artistic director and general source of confusion.

*We don't really make Haute Couture.

It would be super nice to have one day Ceridwyn Au as a client.
